This is definitely a low-budget movie, by Hollywood standards, but the humor in it makes it worth watching. It's not a horror movie in the strict sense, but is more of a horror comedy. I appreciate that it's a film not designed to truly frighten you, but instead draws you in with a multifaceted plot and funny remarks throughout that are casual and relatable.
