The Super Mario Bros. Movie is perhaps one of my favorite movies that I watched, however, it is not my absolute favorite. The Movie reminds me of being young again. The feeling of nostalgia. I only have a few problems with the film 1. Chris Pratt did an AMAZING JOB as Mario. I was more impressed than I thought I would be... despite that, it just doesn't work. He did good, yes, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. 2. The Pacing in this movie is utter garbage. One moment Mario and Donkey Kong are fighting in a way similar to siblings, the next they're just "besties". It doesn't work. Mario and Donkey Kong being friends is A-Ok with me. The problem was just the pacing for it. 3. Bowser loves Peach right on the spot. I feel like we should have been given more backstory as to why. However, despite those three things, the movie is a must-see in my opinion and I cannot wait to see what Nintendo does next! Also "Peaches" by Jack Black is wonderful. It is very memeable.
