Belzaboo

I know that all films are not going to be to everyone's taste but I have to tell you that this film was so utterly boring and such pretentious drivel that I had to leave as I felt I could not possibly endure the film to the end. Please don't think that perhaps I did not know it was in French or that it was subtitled in parts because I knew what to expect. I'm half french and speak the language fluently but after an hour of watching I had no clue what was going on. I even watched the trailer and read some reviews prior to coming and I felt that this was a film that looked fascinating. I wanted to complain on my way out but there were no members of staff. I can only assume that they too were bored to tears and also felt compelled to leave. Even the lure of finding out what had been said in Naples to the main character was not enough to keep me watching. If only I could have my DNA cleansed and my memory erased so that I could forget that I have lost over an hour of my life that I will never get back. Needless to say-I did not stay until the end.
