If these were Britain's best woodworkers, then we need to hang up our tools. I'm very very average at least with woodworking skills and I honestly believe I could've done as well as some of them. Very brief close up shots of split wood and iffy joints showed that whatever criteria the contestants fitted, skilled woodworking was not one of them. In fairness to the contestants, the time scale given to them to complete tasks was completely unrealistic, leading to rushed projects and a huge waste of wood. The series did note that new trees were being planted; that's alright then, now we just need to wait for a hundred odd years for some of them to grow to a useable size. Lastly the "Judges"; what a sour, miserable and demeaning pair they were (mind you I can't see many queuing up to judge this pile of 'woke' rubbish).

I never listen to the so called professional critics, because I rarely if ever agree with their verdict on a film. This is a fine example, panned by the critics but a thoroughly enjoyable film, a bit slow in places but otherwise quite good. Costner always seems to get an unfair slating for his films and I for one have no idea why.

Could have been good, like many people I really admire Gary Oldman, but this was such a disappointment. The plot was fine but the execution was aweful, the (now) usual 'diversive' cast with strong women/ P.O.C. in leadership or assertive/ dominating roles and weak, drippy or thuggish ape white males. As has been said elsewhere it's full of tropes, wooden acting and unlikeable characters.

Great idea for a movie, but ruined by 'woke' ideology being rammed down your throat.

Absolute PC rubbish, once my minimum term on SKY has finished, I'm cancelling my TV licence, I'll stream anything I want to watch in future. Maybe if more people chose to do this, they might get the message.

Took me a while to grasp the thinking behind the American High School in a British setting/1980's vibe, but that's fine, hopefully it will appeal to audiences on both sides of the Atlantic and to various age groups. If you (like me) are a fan of the teen angst movies of the 80's by John Hughes etc, then I think you will enjoy this modern update, especially if you enjoyed '10 things I hate about you', which obviously influenced it. Personally I love the format, characters and topics, hope it does really well.

Ignore the pretentious, so up themselves "professional" critics. Watch the film, sit back and enjoy a lovely story, well acted, and as a bonus, inspired by a true story.
