I was highly anticipating to watch this until the first 10 minutes of the first episode. I quickly realized that the creator of the show chose to portray the story in a soap-ish, over the top, melodramatic fashion. It has Shonda’s signature all over it. There was so many unnecessarily added dramas and stories of insignificant characters which only distracted from the actual story. With that said, this screams loosely based on the real events and should have been disclosed.
