The game runs and plays great on the Switch 2, very much enjoying my time on the game. It plays well on the gen 6 nostalgia, character design for named npcs is great and varied, and there are so many customisation options for the main character you could spend all day just clothes shopping. Battle system is a lot of fun, there are sometimes targeting issues, but the fast paced, real time combat is a nice break from the standard formula. Lumiose city is big enough that there is always something new to find if you explore, yet small enough to become familiar with the places you hang around, rooftop exploration is fun, I didn't expect the game to have so.much vertical exploration. All in all, a great entry to the pokemon series.
