I grew up watching Final Destination series, even though I was way too young for it at the time. my dad had bought the full set of DVDs, and weโd watch them together. my mom couldnโt handle the gore, but for some reason, I could. Thatโs probably because my dad and I have always shared similar tastes in movies and music, especially when it comes to dark, intense, or thrilling content. He even introduced me to Happy Tree Friends, that shockingly gory cartoon and I actually liked it.
looking back, those moments really shaped my comfort with horror and gore. so when Final Destination : Bloodlines came out, I knew I had to watch it. I thought Iโd be completely unfazed after all, I grew up with this kind of stuff. but this one surprised me. the plot was so well-crafted and fresh that I ended up loving it more than I expected. It still had the gruesome deaths and shocking moments the series is known for, but the storyline really stood out this time.
Definitely a great addition to the franchise, and a nostalgic experience with a twist.
