Rating: 1/5 Respect Taylor Swift! I gave this show 1 star because of the sexist joke: “you go through men faster than Taylor Swift.” That line isn’t funny. It’s just lazy and disrespectful and it’s disappointing to see them used as punchlines in 2020s media. Taylor Swift is a successful, talented woman. She doesn’t deserve that kind of hate. She has written and produced most of her music. She’s won 14 Grammy Awards, including 4 for Album of the Year — the most ever by a solo artist. She’s broken streaming and touring records, and her Eras Tour became the highest-grossing tour of all time. She was also named TIME’s Person of the Year in 2023. On top of that, she speaks up about artists’ rights, equality, and mental health. She uses her platform to help others. Mocking her for dating is unfair. People don’t make those jokes about men. It sends the wrong message, especially in a show aimed at teens. I expected better.
