I am on my 3rd time watching this series. It’s a masterpiece in every way… intelligent, exciting, engaging, great storytelling… It has become my favorite movie - and I’m an American. After reading reviews on this movie in So. Korea, I think it is vastly underrated. I’ve tried to watch acclaimed movies in South Korea to figure out what it is that I’m missing, but what they acclaim I find uninteresting. This movie is so much better than any of the So Korean series award winners. I think South Korea has tainted lenses and has become myopic. What a triumph of a series. No wonder Internationals are willing to read a movie… we will if it’s quality. Bravo King, Eternal Monarch!
