Tried to stick to Lee and Kirbys 1960s comics - mainly worked too. I felt when the movie finished that I had been to something worth going to. The downsides were the uniforms, and the fantastic 4 car - both far too removed from the originals - the upsides were the Things performance, Johnny using his brain for once, Sue and Reeds relationship and all this with a cute baby thrown in. Also Galactus was just like the 60's comic. Jack and Stan would be proud.

Movies like this give all superhero movies a bad name. And I thought some of the recent Marvel movies were turkeys!

I have watched the first episode and found filming far too dark for my liking. I had to check my tv to see if others programmes were affected the same - they weren't. I found it hard to concentrate on the storyline as I spent most of the time squinting to make out the scenes. Very disappointing.

To watch this you had a lot of back tracking to do (lots of references to previous MCU movies) The CGI was as expected but the dialogue was poor at times and the overall feel of this movie was very hap-hazard, some distance behind other MCU movies I fear.

One of the best US crime shows to be ever produced, characters you can believe in, a complex yet gripping storyline. Brilliant stuff.
