Nope was an amazing tour through terror, friendship, hopelessness, heroism (choosing to run away but being lead into the madness by the heroes, heart-stopping fear, love (of differing varieties), rooting for the good guys (though you’re not always sure exactly who they are) & loss.
I’m sure I missed something in there but this movie is so complex & the whole time is “stirring the pot inside your head”, you walk away from it with a feeling that at some point you must’ve given permission to lobotomize bc you know you’ll never think the same again.
The movie, Nope, is a work of genius across the board: writers, director, editors, actors, horse trainers, wardrobe & makeup… I can only say that each & every person working on the project brought with them a piece of God to grace this film with.
To say Masterpiece doesn’t give it enough credit… it’s just breathtaking & all of the above!! My entire family & family friends that went to see it together all walked out speechless & moved. The ratings give here come from eleven people in our group representing ages ranging across the scale: 9-16; 23-39 & 46-70.
We were speechless every one.
