Movie is horrible. I had some free time and popped in this afternoon. Should had stayed at work. Cgi is a mess. The acting is horrid Anna runs around mostly with a dumb blank stare and when you thought Chris Hemworth was at his worst in Thor Love and Thunder.. wrong he hit a new low on this one. Should had went into see Garfield.

I subscribed to Disney/Hulu to watch Shogun. Decided to give this a try. Got about 25 minutes in and just couldn't watch it. It's so horribly bad.

Season one really was bad. I loved everything from Middle Earth but this was extremely difficult to watch. I found myself fast forwarding through probably half of it. Besides the fact they invented characters completely out of the blue like Durins wife just so they can mark off some DEI checklists that instead of making the story better made it worse. The writing was horrid, the CGI was amateur at best, the flow, rhythm, pace and overall feel of the production just did not come together. Maybe season 2 will be better

I heard that they are going to make a biography of Martin Luther King next. They cast Alex Baldwin as the lead.

Finally some one makes something worth watching.

I honestly thought they would screw this up. The original anime was so well done. Full of heart and character and will always be a treasured memory of sharing them with my son as he was growing up. Something we could share. They completely captured the heart and soul that made the animated version so beloved. Amazing job.
