First of all got to say I loved the game. However despite the creepy mansion and solve obscure key objectives to continue. It did not really feel like classic Resi to me. Playing in 1st person upped the tension, I have never, never been more grateful to find a shotgun in the game. Yet this comes at the cost of not having your characters on screen so not getting that involved with the narrative in traditional Resi style.

Awesome. Unfortunately it's just the first section of the game proper. That said its massively expanded, if they really wanted to push the envelope this could take 5 parts. A lot of fan service, but really what do you expect? Square enix where pushed into this and would be roasted if they didn't please this group. I'm very happy even though I had to buy a console to play this.

Loved it, great action sequences. Entertained me and lord knows I need that at the moment.
