This movie genuinely made me a DC fan again. All my childhood, I was very neutral about DC and Marvel, and if I did like a character, it was one that everyone liked, like the Flash and Batman. But then the Injustice 2 game came out with the Batman V.S. Superman and the man of steel movies with Henry Cavill, which disappointed me heavily and caused me to completely pull away from it all. I of course watched the infinity war, but that was it. Then I heard of this movie and thought "great, its probably just like the MoS, hes gunna be this worshipped, unattainable god that does whatever he wants with the power he has" and it made me very hesitant to watch it. And on a whim, I decided why not, lets see what it has in store. This movie single-handedly made me love Superman again, want to get involved with DC again, and feel this otherworldly feeling of joy, hope, love, the readiness to take on hurdles life would throw me. Thank you, James Gunn, for bringing Superman back and I cant wait to see what more you’re gunna do.
