I remember watching it for the first time right after completing breaking bad and loving it. The tone was perfect since I had just gotten off bbad watching Jimmy McGill turn into Saul Goodman was giving me so much more to absorb from the breaking bad universe (not in a bad way), the imagery and the music all seem to work harmoniously. But something happened when I re-watched it after a year or two, I loved it even more. Vince and Peter and all the writers and the credited crew really know how to tell a story, they strike the right chords and show you exactly what’s needed and nothing more nothing less. This is peak storytelling and these characters, I don’t say this lightly mind you, are some of the most memorable characters I’ve seen.
