Meh. I guess it’s ok for a WWII zombie movie. I rented it as I saw JJ Abrams as the producer. The villains were standard Nazi clichés. Kind of evil. Kind of Incompetent. The main protagonist was uninteresting. I was hoping he would get killed. The female protagonist yells “Go Paul Go”. To her little brother who doesn’t speak English. A native French speaker would shout in French, not English. But I guess they figured it would be too hard to read subtitles. The main protagonist picks up a M1 Garand after loosing his equipment. Grab extra ammo. No need. He has plot armor. There are so many sloppy things like that that I regretted renting it. If you have nothing better to do. Fine. Otherwise look elsewhere.

It’s mildly entertaining. But there’s so much bad acting. And plot holes and continuity errors that my 12-year-old spends most of her time yelling at the screen. At Two points in the first five episodes. The characters go through water. A lot of water. And no one is wet. Sure, the blonde lady’s hair is mildly wet. But somehow their jackets and all of their clothes are completely dry despite being Submerged. Sure, maybe they put all their clothes in garbage bags to somehow keep them dry. But that was never shown. And miraculously literally everyone who was in downtown LA has backpacks. Overall. The show seems to be set up to be a Lost 2.0. But the acting is OK at best. Super cringey at the worst. And the storyline is often over the top for a pretty minor incident. The under spec for a fairly major event. Not to give spoilers. But say a plane crashed and a pilot ejected. The plane should probably be completely destroyed right? Nope it’s basically fine. I can get past the pilot who was wearing a jumpsuit suddenly find black jeans, T-shirt, and a jacket. Or the girl from the very beginning who is wearing orange pants is suddenly now wearing jeans. Everyone’s clothes, stay amazingly, clean and dry. But what I can’t get past…. The most unbelievable part of this entire show. Is that their iPhone batteries last for days!!!!!!
