I stayed away from this movie initially when it came out in 2020 due to what the professional reviewers wrote about it. I won’t be listening to them anymore. This movie was superb in every way. Excellent acting and another Ron Howard win. It’s a movie I’d like my grandsons to see at some point since most kids come up against what Vance did when growing up. Hopefully it’ll help them make the right choice for themselves. As a therapist, I also appreciated the family generational strengths and brokenness understanding that ran through the film. The maternal side of my family is from Appalachia, so this movie pulled a lot of heartstrings for me. An excellent movie. Highly recommend.

Loved this movie. Excellent for all ages. Inspiring for everyone. Definitely a worthy must see family movie.
