Nothing short of a modern classic. Meticulous attention to detail, wonderful story, inspirational dialogues, one of the best soundtracks in Bollywood history, powerful performances, nailbiting suspense, gripping action, breathtaking dreamlike cinematography, fantastic direction - what more can you want from a classic Bollywood movie? It never gets old and the film has aged very well with time. The climax is where things reach a crescendo but the action has been kept very realistic. This is Vidhu Vinod Chopra's finest, I would say. It is one of my top 5 favorite Bollywood movies. Rimjhim Rimjhim and Yeh Safar are two of my most favourite tracks.

An excellent Bengali movie that is very well written and directed. Do not go with expectations of jump out with horror scenes like The Conjuring, Annabele or Insidious. This is a mystery thriller cum horror genre film, and does every bit of justice to viewers. Watch it today. My rating is 10/10. The music is haunting and stays with you beyond the film for many days. I would request Birsa Dasgupta to make this a series, with the trio of Aniket, his editor and Nandini as ghost hunters and mystery solvers. Kallol Lahiri - the writer - take a bow man!
