I have always loved this show. It's my favorite home reno show by far, and this makes my experience with the last episode I watched even more disappointing. You generally seem to focus on people pulling themselves up or folks facing hardships, or at the least very small budgets. This recent episode focused on a couple wanting a swimming pool and design studio in their back yard. (The Napiers had already done their home a couple of years ago. Are they running out of locations?) This is definitely not the typical Laurel resident. They also seemed be to kind of cheap and clueless to think they could get all that for $150,000 (they couldn't). I was especially bugged when the couple stated that they have moved homes every two years and this was the third home the Napiers had fone for them. Like nothing is good enough, and like it is now all just a cottage industry of doing homes for your friends and getting paid by HGTV to do it. I was bugged that this was a project that their really wasn't much for them to do as it required pool contractors (Erin commented on that many times). It seemed like just a way to give the one woman's husband air time and free advertising. Do better.
