I just blew up my friends phone after watching this movie. Just completely spammed her, along with 10 minutes of voice messages, because OH. MY. GOD. I’m ruined for any movie ever again, I can no longer move, see, or speak. I’ll try to write what I felt without spoiling the movie. The way you could feel Antonia’s passion through the screen for both the music and the people around her *wink wink* Frank, I was squealing, giggling, and kicking my feet for the whole 2 hours. To be honest, I really only came to watch this movie because I saw clips on TikTok and though the blonde dude (Frank) was hot. Little did I know the absolute emotional turmoil I would go through. The part that made me stop the movie and take a lap was the way they called back previous moments between Antonia and Frank, the way it went from a girl with big dreams to a successful woman with the man she loved secretly supporting her. Although it wasn’t the ending I wanted, it was the most amazing ending I couldn’t have even imagined. 100% recommend watching this, it was a 10/10 experience and I can’t wait to force the people in my family to watch it just so I can relive it vicariously through them.
