I originally saw this when it aired on the sci-fi channel. When I heard of this remake, I was little skeptical at first to watch it. Since I loved the original 1984 movie with Michael Pare'. When I rented it on VHS, a year later when it came out. I think all the actor's, did a great job. Loved the storyline, in how the USS. Eldridge came about into 2012. Since most fans, hopefully knew of the origins. Of how & where it came about. Special effects, were just as good. But was a little weird to see Michael Pare' in a different role.

Worst sci fi 90s movie I saw. Glad to know Kurt Russell moved on to better roles.

I originally saw this movie when it came our in December '79. With my friend John, at the time. May he rest in peace. Well as with both our mother's two rows behind us. Always loved the film. Was glad when I got the bluray. It actually has the theatrical and extended versions of the film. Still a true classic, to this day!

One of the best romance drama mini series ever made in the late 1980s. About Priscilla Presley's life, before and sfter she met Elvis. And helped shaped the man and legend of whom he became. Until his untimely death in 1977. Based upon the book, Elvis and Me. I thought the book, was done very well. Just as, with over three hours. Susan Walters did a great job with her stunning likeness and portraying Priscilla. And well as with Dale Midkiff portraying Elvis, showing his inner demons that led to their divorce. Along with a great support ing cast. Had and recorded it on video back then. And eventually transferred it to DVD . Quality is still go9. This will always be true classic. Even with Ronnie McDowell had and done all the songs of Elvis.

No one can replace Christopher Reeve. He was the best, those were a piece of Americana. Today's movies rely on CGi, there's no heart or passion in these. Next time try some practical effects and a decent storyline.

Of all the Sid & Marty Krofft shows, Land of the Lost was my all time favorite. Growing up with all their shows, since the dawn of their first show. Knowing that I grew up in Holliston, Ma. Hadn't known, that they originated from Providence, RI. Since I acquired, the original DVD sets, almost 20 years ago. Even from the success from this show, it spawned another series, in the 90's. Tried watching it, but the puppetry was not that believeable. Much as to movie version with Will Ferrell, sorry to say, should've been canned. All in all, I tip my hat to Sid & Marty Krofft.!!

Don't waste your time, watching this. Tom Cruise, can't act. The first movie was lame as it was. For the soundtrack, Danger Zone was the only good song that came from Kenny Loggins.

I have been an Elvis fan. From the early 70s when I first heard his songs on a few 45s I had then. Since my parents were thus at Elvis' age. It was I when I remembered the day went to Florida, was the day he died in '77. Needless to know, years later when I met my future sister in law. She'd had seen one of his last concerts I believe in Madison, Wisconsin June. Six weeks before his death. A year or two later, a documentary known as This is Elvis came out. Since then I became a true effecionato of Elvis. As one scene from this film was inserted into Baz's film. When Elvis is seen, driving thru the gates of Graceland is neither Butler or Elvis. (It's Johnny Harrah doubling as Elvis) I went to Graceland the following year, as a graduation present from my mother. My dad had some months earlier at the age of 47. I thus did notice every scene montage in which was Butler or Elvis. Especially scenes from that's the way it is. From the audience perspective. Although, I do praise on the cinematography from Baz' movie. I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone. But I did get choked up from final interweave from Butler to Elvis's Unchained Melody. Elvis's legacy will live on. As for who the other artists whom sang his songs in the film. Leave it to Elvis Presley himself. There is only one, who could justify these songs!
