This book is one of the best I have ever read. Everything, absolutely everything, resonates and relates to an average woman who faces domestic abuse and still continues to be quiet and be a survivor rather than fight for herself and millions of other women alike her. I really liked the idea that it's easy to follow the familiar patterns but it takes a lot of strength to change them, take risk, and come out with freedom and dignity. That's very true. Currently reading the sequel and hoping it to be as exciting and truthful as the first one.
