Definitely thought this movie got a bad rap. I actually enjoyed how it completely separated from the previous four and focused on the financial struggles Rocky went through after retirement. Also with the relationships between his son and his young protege. The fight at the end was also completely different from the normal film fight endings we’ve become accustomed to, but just as exciting and captivating. My main problem was it seemed like Rocky’s speech was much worse and sounded deeper, more slurred and that he suffered from a speech impediment, way more so than in the movie’s predecessors and following three. Otherwise a fresh take on the series with a more unpredictable story.
