The scene when we're first introduced to the vampire at his castle is pretty atmospheric and creepy. I felt there was over use of cgi and too many cool camera shots. Always felt the directors presence in every scene which distracted from the flow of the film. The screen play isn't that great and there is too much unnecessary dialogue throughout. I just felt the fim as a whole just didn't pull together and failed to connect somehow. Is it a classic or a turkey? Or both?
