We are neither film nor history buffs, but we do like movies especially about real life events. Simply put, this movie was neither interesting or entertaining. It's hard to tell a story that occurs over decades over in 2-3 hrs, and so this director failed. There was a lack of character development or chronological comprehension. The events take course over many years yet the characters barely change. Not to mention the different groups and motives are complex especially for someone without a historical background to intuit what is happening and why. More of an epic letdown than epic film.
