Please don’t listen to the one star reviews. People need to learn to enjoy a film for what it is instead of expecting amazing quality considering that this franchise has been around for almost 30 years. It’s also annoying that these people take their opinions so seriously, and will argue with you if you enjoyed the film. This was the most suspenseful film since Jurassic park the lost world in my opinion, it managed to keep me on the edge of my seat and made me feel that the characters where actually in danger (unlike dominion) and I have to admire that it’s backed the franchise out of the awkward corner that dominion had backed itself into with all of the “dinosaurs in our world” stuff. This film was also super unsanitised in terms of on screen deaths compared to dominion and fallen kingdom, I don’t want to spoil the film but multiple people are killed on screen. The dinosaurs are portrayed like actual animals instead of mindless killing machines in this film. This film brings some cool redesigns and some new species to the table, and even mutant dinosaurs, which display the consequences of genetic engineering. This message rings more true than ever nowadays (if you know you know.) The characters are also developed nicely and don’t feel flat, which was also an issue with dominion. My only issue with this film is the blatant product placement, (especially snickers) but if that’s to be expected nowadays in Jurassic movies (e.g Pandora on Main Street at Jurassic world or Claire and Owen drinking Budweiser at a restaurant in fallen kingdom.) PLEASE GO AND SEE THIS FILM, but go in with an open mind and don’t take the film so damn seriously (I don’t get how people can take a film about dinosaurs being back alive so seriously and then have the audacity to call it unrealistic considering the possibility of dinosaurs coming back is basically next to zero) and make sure to enjoy it!
