Confusing storyline. Left me disappointed and confused when, at the end of the movie, I expected there to be another half left to go. Anna Kendrick put the spotlight on herself and her character, of which gave nothing to the plot aside from that โhairs standing upโ feeling in regards to the antagonist. Even just based on the title โwoman of the Hourโ I expected it to be about her characterโs fight for survival against a brutal killer she matched with on a dating game. Spoiler alert- nope! If you remove her characterโs scenes- minus the parking lot scene- you are left with what could have been a decent movie. The best part was the end and it felt like the movie was just getting started! Movie shouldโve been about either Alcala or the woman at the end of the movie. Not Kendrick.
