Confusing storyline. Left me disappointed and confused when, at the end of the movie, I expected there to be another half left to go. Anna Kendrick put the spotlight on herself and her character, of which gave nothing to the plot aside from that “hairs standing up” feeling in regards to the antagonist. Even just based on the title “woman of the Hour” I expected it to be about her character’s fight for survival against a brutal killer she matched with on a dating game. Spoiler alert- nope! If you remove her character’s scenes- minus the parking lot scene- you are left with what could have been a decent movie. The best part was the end and it felt like the movie was just getting started! Movie should’ve been about either Alcala or the woman at the end of the movie. Not Kendrick.
