It's an ok RPG, but a terrible dragon age game. Its a pretty, very boring, cartoonish version of the series with over the top characters that you do not care about at all. Dragons age used to have a deeply engaging story, but the grit and gravitas of saving the world has been replaced by a silly and basically linear experience you will forget all about. The gameplay is kind of fun for an action adventure type game, but the whole premise of having a "party" with you is effectively gone. Your companions are out of your direct control, basically useless, and are effectively just another skill button to click during a fight. All in all if this was on sale for a deep discount and you can separate yourself from the glory of past dragon age titles its worth a play I guess, but don't expect much.
