Despite the technical issues, this game is one of the best in the series in terms of story. My game wasn't super buggy so, I'm still a bit confused on how 'horribly buggy' this game is, but I'm guessing some players got the bad end of the stick with their product. I had a pretty fun time, especially at the end of the game. I do think some of the Pokemon designs could be better, but this is a game that is changing the entire system Pokémon has run on for years, mistake WILL be made. Due to that I was expecting to come out not liking it so much like gen 4 and gen 6, but the that wasn't what happened. It ended up being one of my top faves due to the story. I went into this blind without seeing any leaks btw. Also, Joe K makes really good points in his review to consider. The other thing I'd like to add is that some development most likely went on during covid, so they probably had an even smaller team working on this game due to that. I really hate that this whole thing is being compared to the issues with cyberpunk. It's not even on the same level!
