I was born in 1966 from a military background. My granddad escaped Dunkirk with a shot leg. He recovered and went back in to become a prisoner of war in Japan for 4 years. I've watched hundreds of documentaries. I have a thirst for knowledge on world war 2. I can honestly say this series is by far the most incredible I've seen. It shows all sides from all over the world. Breathtaking.
