This film was a big disappointment, Cillian always steals the show with his acting and Matt Damon was brilliant. However, I felt the pacing was too slow. The story seemed to focus more on his personal life than his actual scientific work on the bomb, wasn't that supposed to be what the film was about? The climax we were all waiting for (the explosion) was a total letdown. It should have been a much bigger explosion, somehow it was like a small stick of dynamite had gone off instead of an actual nuclear bomb. I was so bored by the end I fell asleep, I think Christopher Nolan has lost his way with filmmaking recently. Tenet was awful and so was this, I hope his next film is as good as Dark Knight and Inception.

Glad to see WB and DC are pushing the DCEU to a better place, a place that isn't trying to be Marvel, but instead giving their stamp on 'superhero' movies. Dwayne Johnson may not be everyone's cup of tea but he has certainly done a fine job of portraying Black Adam. It's great to see Pierce Brosnan back on the big screen in a big way, playing Dr Fate is just the perfect casting choice. It's a solid film, not perfect, but so much fun and packed with great action sequences. The secret cameo is everything we DC fans deserved!
