Long and slow, the only redeeming quality comes at the very end, if one can last that long.
BC, an undeniably gifted actor, has, unfortunately, succumbed to the 'anything for an Oscar' faction of method actors: becoming a stinking, rude, and obnoxious cast member, who has unapologetically admitted to abusing animals in the process. The last, apparently allowed in New Zealand, being the reason it was filmed there.
Disappointing to say the least.
