It's really a shame to see such a talented cast stuck with such a thinly plotted crapsicle of a film. The movie has a barely credible plot worth about a 30 minute episode of a mediocre adventure series, poorly developed backstory, no explanation of the world in which it takes place, and no particular point except to kill as many people, in excruciating slow motion, with as many exploding blood bags as possible. You could cut 30 minutes off the length of the film by running the uninspiring, repetitive fight scenes in real time instead of slow motion. That would have the advantage of getting you to the end, such as it is, faster.
