I love the MCU and the first Doctor Strange movie in the lineup was one of my favorites. This one was just OK for me. **Spoliers** I disliked America’s character. She wasn’t a great actress (I’m so sorry), she didn’t add much value, she didn’t add any depth. I just hated her introduction altogether with minimal backstory. And I just generally despise when characters spend the whole movie claiming they can’t tap into their powers, then suddenly, all it takes is for the main character to say “you can do it” toward the end of the movie and then BAM! powers tapped! The rest of the movie was good…all other actors were tremendous. Though I could do without Christine. Now that she’s “married” —we think—I hope that’s the last we see of her. Otherwise, the CGI was great, added humor was great, and the relationship between the characters were great (sans America). Just good. Not amazing.

*spoilers* I mean. It wasn’t the worst movie I’ve ever seen, but it was almost a full blown comedy for me. I mean, it got to a point where his powers were THROWING BATS, lol. I just can’t. So disappointed.
