Just watched bou buttu bhuta and I'll rate it prolly 2.5 stars! Babushan and Aparajita's acting was genuinely impressive. The totally carried the film but sadly i can't say the same about Archita. Seeing both of my favorite characters of Chocolate film together gave me a majorrr nostalgia fr but as per Archita's performance.. it felt really off. Her dialogue delivery didn't give that village girl vibe! She seems more likely a city girl. Duh that broke the immersion fr. Spoiler alert! Talking about the story.. the plot was confusing. The charecter Amari..who is a very very important character..shows up in the last hour of a 3 hour long movie??????? Tf? Honestly they should have explored his backstory much earlier. It was also predictable ngl. And trust me for a very long time 95% of the audience thought Buttu was possessed by his father. And if the father's ghost was the one seeking revenge then that would have actually made more sense. But here nothing actually added up. His father was actually killed by his Maa. But he never took any revenge and that made no sense. The VFX? eh lets not talk about it and I wont complain much also cuz ofc! It's ollywood only! But dudeeeee the soundtracks write absolute banger. Loved them! They were the major highlight for me cuz i love mainstreams. One time watchable! So do check it out!
