Anyone who didn't like this movie has too high of standards or as they say, are AI or bots. I say this as not only a theatre person but also someone who has taken multiple film classes. This movie originally came out when I was 1 year old. Yes, they missed a few scenes in the original film but that's okay. It gives originality to the film and tells a different storyline. I think in my opinion a cooler storyline. Nani needed her happy ending. It’s like with Harry Potter, the books are different from the movies. I liked how they focused more on Nani and Lilo's relationship. Glad Pleakley wasn’t acting like a weird annoying side character the whole time like in the original. Pleakley in my opinion is not what should be important in this story. I have never been a fan of him. His character in my opinion is whiny and annoying. I would have been happy even if he was gone entirely. I get people want the same story but, if I were the same then it would be boring. I love Lilo and Stitch hardcore and was very excited about this movie. Don’t regret it one bit.
