This book was an absolute pain, if i had the option not to read it i wouldn't have read it. Basically the story is about this kid Junior, living in a reservation and on like the 3rd chapter. This guy starts talking about masturbation like huh? That's weird like really, really weird. And then this guy tries too hard to be funny and relatable, and it doesn't really work its just BAD, and the story like shifts a lot and stuff like one moment we're talking about his dog dying then him masturbating... Yeah that totally makes sense and then he like overly sexualizes his girlfriend and this kid just complains throughout the entire book he is insufferable. He legit learns nothing throughout the book, and the ending feels very, very, very rushed like the story peaks after like 20 something chapters and then the falling action is like 3 really short chapters and 1 super long one. He Doesn't learn anything throughout the entire book and everything just goes his way because why not! he's the main character! But the overall conflict in the story is that he gets bullied a lot, his best friend hates him, everybody hates him, and his sister and grandma dies. The bullying stops because people learnt to accept him and stuff, and also at some part in the book they talk about "Metaphorical Boners" I really have nothing else to say about this book its just a bleak boring experience that really grossed me out and annoyed me because he constantly objectifies woman like bro his sister died and when the teacher hugged him he got a boner... This book is just weird you get the point now probably. The only thing Junior learnt in the book was to accept death. The people around you wont be here forever. That's basically the only thing he learnt he stayed the same, didn't change his ways he's just a BAD character. Also lastly junior just goes on incoherent rants for half the time. 0/10 Wouldn't read again.
