Pathetic! Even if Zamin and Sehar got married to please her father as he was dying, the fact is Zamin was engaged to Hareem and should have annulled the marriage right after the father died. They could have brought Sehar to their home after that, told everybody they had to do it for father's sake, found her a match and moved on. Hareem and everyone had every right to defend her marriage. It was unfair and really disrespectful to her. Zamin just wanted to have his cake and eat it too! Very bad example to set for society, telling men it is okay for them to marry another woman, even if to fake it for someone and keep her. I respect pakistani writers for their great writing, particularly on women's issues. They always portray women as strong and able to withstand any problem. Deeply disappointed by this one!
