Listen, I see how others enjoy this book. But as a 15 year old that’s actually in a normal high school, this school in the book isn’t very realistic. The kids in this story are somewhat realistic? but the attitudes are so corny and cringey. This is not how teenagers act these days.. sure some may, but this book is definitely not a good book for students to connect and relate to. I see how Jennifer wanted to write this book but it just didn’t come out as what i expected from the summary. It just feels like the book is revolving around how Libby is fat and is bullied… like as a plus size person this book has some very interesting scenes. I love how Libby is confident in her self but it isn’t realistic at all like how she ran across the football field to chase Jack’s friend? like why?? overall this book just gave me a hard read and second embarrassment the whole time.. i just couldn’t finish it. Even first couple pages made me cringe like nobody wears red lipstick and a navy blue dress to the first day of school😭 anyways I don’t recommend this book to people who want a good enemies to lovers or some love story. It’s just teenagers that fall in love because of their flaws like awe so cute lol..☠️
