After a few weeks of watching the movie, Vasudha stays with me as Draupathi....the one who is born out of fire....the one who had to be in a closed space (a car) with Duryodhana, Dussasana, and a helpless observer like one of the Pandavas during the epic abuse in the epic Mahabharata.
And When Vasudha withdrew her finger in the last moment, it was Draupathi’s determination not to tie her hair. If she is expecting Dussasana’s blood, that’s already done. No, Vasudha is not looking for blood. She is waiting for him to understand the sensibilities of a woman....’hold my hands in silence, rather than asking a question’.
