This is the kind of show the Americans do best. It's funny, the characters are all great and the chemistry works. It's like an early 80"s Wonder Years with more laughter.

It shows Will Ferrell can do serious, but keep his childish humour in check to the film give the film a twist, keeping it from just a (clever) melodramatic romantic.
