Eddie Marsan was sat next to me on the Underground. When he was stood by the door ready to get off the train he was looking at me intensely I took his look to be a warning not to acknowledge him. So I respected his privacy...but so wanted to tell him that Still LIfe is one of my favourite films and his performance was compelling. Reminding me of Robin Williams part in One Hour Photo, both so still and precise, a difficult role to maintain but both were successful.
Uberto Pasolini' craftmanship in writing and directing the above was so rich with detail ... like the dismissal of employees who gave the personal touch but have been coldly discarded for profit.
The end always moves me, I've watched this film about 3 times...thank you.
