The acting was inspirational. Well-played. However, if you are not familiar with the history in the Middle East at that time, you could have a difficult time deriving motivation and meaning. In the “prologue” there is some explanation but by the time you get into the series you may forget the meaning of what is going on or the historical context. There was a place for context besides the beaches of Tel Aviv so that the viewer can gain a deeper understanding of the time period. Otherwise, well worth your time.
