Tshegofatso Sekgobela

Terrible movie...there was no development in any of the main characters which was highly expected considering the tragedy that occured and the displacement of our two main characters. It lacked creativity and authenticity as the storyline was so rushed and poorly written. I believe the predominantly white production crew was so fixated on trying to relate to another 'sad black story during apartheid' so much so they completely forgot to tell the story itself. It had great potential considering the excellent selection of the South African cast. But lacked so much thought towards the characters...really disappointing.
