This very much reminded me of The Raid. The reviews blasted this film, I actually enjoyed it. William Catlett, who played Griffin, turned out to be the sweet surprise in the movie.
Everyone in the cast had a back story. Clearing up the reason they were all in Puerto Rico during Hurricane Irma. Some reasons better than the rest.
The film has a lot of well played action shots, with lots of foreshadowing. I particularly liked the opening scene, that didn't give away the ending, but showed the action picks up as Hurricane Irma sets down in Puerto Rico. There is also some great lighting scenes when the eye of the storm hits the island..
No, this isn't going to make anyone's best feature film ever list. But, the characters are sure worth a watch.
And there is a lot of shooting.
