Took a classic franchise with a cult following and bastardized it's name. This movie stripped away what made the original entertaining and traded it for politics. Destined to fail. Not a single scene is at all scary or suspenseful and the actor's responses to these scenarios is cringey. The movie tries to introduce new plot lines with every act without ever delivering on them. Plot is nonsensical and only creates plot holes. This movie could have failed fine on it's own, but instead, I fear it was created to doom the franchise that wasn't that great to begin with.
