Started out great. Loved the main characters and hated the villains - it sucked me in. Then season 5 happened. Lazy writing, time jumps, replacing characters… no real plot, no obstacle like shady doctors or Red Rock big Pharma… don’t like Billie and don’t get why she’s supported AND promoted. Not believable she made chief. Trevor didn't rape her so why should the poor kid be rejected so harshly when they’re both adults and she’s supposed to be intelligent and somewhat mature? She showed up like a best friend, top surgeon, blah blah - didn’t make sense. Her character is annoying and in no way replaces Mina. Why did it end with Bells son being super involved and then a no show? No explanations of so many relationships and main characters but then a twin appears? The doctors we loved were rebels, second guessing systemic regimes and questioning pharma, bending rules and saving lives. NOW, it’s let the man be a hero and die. We believe in ghosts. Chinese faulty medical parts are all of a sudden a false claim. It’s obvious the new writers bought into the woke agenda and tried hard to appease everyone. But it veered from the show’s original goals and weakened its excitement. It’s just meh now.
