Fantastic! deep, thoughtful 400 y history & analysis that slowly develops the idea of the capitalist engine that established and continues to run NYC (esp. Manhattan) & its influence across the globe. Four episodes into it, and I've learned & connected so many things across our American history. The writers & production of this series deserve mega-kudos! Highly recommended to aficionados New York. (Y)

Horror! not Thriller. Creepy, evil story with nihilistic ending. No one is redeemed. I hate putting in the effort & the few nice people loose to superstition & evil in the end. Ugh. Not worth the effort of watching.& be crushed, everything lost . . .
