i watched this show growing up and then i cringed at some of it. i was a teenage girl wanting to be cool, sophisticated and worldly in a rural oklahoma place. i wanted to get as far away from my young life as i could back then. as an adult however i can appreciate the many bright and gifted characters, musicians, actors and say, yep, this is where i come from.
