Sean Grapin

Took my girlfriend and had an awesome time! She's not very familiar with Wes Anderson's work but I've shown her Grand Budapest and she really enjoyed that and this movie as well. I'm a huge Wes fan and this is definitely up there in his filmography, although I wouldn't call it his best. The second of the three stories felt the weakest to me but the first one about the painter was an 11/10 and is Anderson at the best I've ever seen him. Movie was visually stunning, funny at times, and an interesting vibe. Highly recommend. If you're a fan of Wes Anderson this is him at his most Wes Anderson-y. For those who aren't familiar with Anderson's work, confusion may ensue but if you enjoy the trailers you'll love the film.
